Daily checks
- Brush hair from clippers, trimmers and guards.
- Disinfect reusable tools between clients.
- Oil clipper blades as recommended by the manufacturer.
- Check blades for heat, damage or rust.
- Clean combs, brushes and station surfaces.
- Store clean tools safely at the end of the day.
Weekly checks
- Deep clean guards, combs and non electrical accessories.
- Check clipper screws, blade alignment and general condition.
- Inspect cables, chargers and plugs for damage.
- Clean drawers, mats and storage areas.
- Review stock of disinfectant, neck strips, capes and blades.
Monthly checks
- Review blade sharpness and replace worn blades where needed.
- Check shaver foils and cutters.
- Inspect chairs, mirrors and station fittings.
- Remove expired or contaminated products.
- Review cleaning records if the shop uses them.
